MOT: This legal test is conducted to check whether your vehicle meets all the road safety and environmental standards. We conduct MOT tests for:
- Class IV vehicles - These are identified as smaller commercial vehicles with a gross weight of 3,000 kg or less. These vehicles should pass their MOT every 12 months. This category comprises motor caravans, private rental cars, taxis, twelve-seater ambulances, cargo trucks, three-wheeled vehicles weighing more than 450 kg unladen, and campervans.
- Class V vehicles - This group includes dual-purpose vehicles with thirteen or more passenger seats, playhouses, motorhomes, ambulances, and private passenger vehicles. They have to pass the MOT every year.
- Class VII vehicles - These are commercial vehicles weighing between 3,000 kg and 3,500 kg. It consists of trucks, high-top vehicles, and larger transit vans. Vehicle owners should obtain Class VII MOT approval every six months.
